Three steps to clarity

Upload your bid, get your report, go into negotiations informed.

1

Submit your bid

Upload your typed contractor estimate as a PDF or Word file. We accept one to eight bids depending on your package. All contractor-identifying information is anonymized before analysis begins.

2

We analyze the documents

Your bid is reviewed against verified 2025–2026 California regional pricing data. We flag missing scope items, pricing anomalies, equipment gaps, warranty issues, and change order risk — all in plain English.

3

Receive your report within 24–48 hours

A complete PDF report delivered to your email. Includes a flag summary, risk rating, detailed findings, and a ready-to-send list of questions for your contractor. Premium clients also receive a personal video call with Adam.

What’s hiding in your bid

Most homeowners don’t know what a complete bid looks like. Bid Clarity does.

Scope omissions

Items commonly required for your project type that aren’t addressed — and could become change orders.

Pricing benchmarks

Line items compared against verified California regional market data for 2025–2026.

Equipment gaps

Missing brand or model specs that leave room for substitution after you’ve signed.

Warranty review

Absent, vague, or below-standard warranty language on labor and equipment.

Change order risk

Allowances, TBD items, and site condition clauses that create cost exposure after work begins.

Bid comparison

Side-by-side analysis of what each contractor included — and what they left out.

Adam

Founder, Bid Clarity

I spent years overseeing hundreds of outdoor construction projects for one of the premier construction companies in Los Angeles. I’ve seen bids from every angle — what a fair one looks like, and what a problematic one hides. I built Bid Clarity because homeowners deserve the same information contractors have before anyone signs anything.

What people ask before they buy

How accurate is the pricing analysis?

Pricing is benchmarked against verified 2025–2026 California regional market data for outdoor construction. Benchmarks are estimates — actual pricing varies by location, project complexity, and market conditions. We flag significant deviations, not minor ones.

Is my data private?

Yes. All contractor-identifying information is anonymized before we touch the document. Your bid files are used solely to generate your report and are deleted after delivery. We do not sell or share your data.

What if I disagree with a flag?

Every flag describes a fact about the document — something present, absent, or unclear. If you believe a flag is inaccurate, reply to your delivery email and Adam will review it personally.

What if my contractor sees this report?

The report analyzes the bid document only and makes no negative statement about any contractor. All contractor-identifying information is anonymized. The questions in your report are designed to be shared — they’re professional, factual, and fair.
